Take easy measurements for dress fitting

You can place your order then call us and we will tell you what measurements you need for each dress.

If you want to DIY measurements follow these instructions:  

Have someone else take your measurements for accuracy. Measurements should be taken in a standing position wearing the type of underwear you intend to wear. Using a vinyl dressmaker’s tape measure closely around each body section. Fingers should be outside the tape except for the waist measurement. Double check measurements to ensure accuracy.

  1. Height – Stand against the wall and make a mark at the top of your head. Measure from the mark to the floor.

  2. Bust - Measure around the fullest part of your bust and the widest part of your back. Measure outside your bra and keep the tape parallel with the floor.

  3. Upper bust - Measure around your front and back under your arm pits about 10cm above your bust. Keep the tape parallel with the floor.

  4. Waist – Measure around the narrowest part of your waist keeping one finger under the tape.

  5. Hips – Stand with feet together and measure around the widest part of your lower body.

  6. Hollow to hem - Measure from the hollow between your collar bones, at the base of your throat, to the desired hem of your dress. Run the tape over the bust line.
