We made this Designer inspired gown for a lovely bride who had, just a few months before, had a baby.

She loved a gown she had tried on but couldn't justify paying over $3000 for it with baby and wedding expenses.

The bride to be was very happy with our $1150 all-inclusive price tag.

She wanted to modify the original gown by changing the neckline from sweetheart to straight.

She also thought she would lose some more baby weight so we made the back lace up to accommodate for any weight fluctuations.

From our wide selection of French lace, she chose this one which is a thicker lace that would give the bodice texture.

I then took her measurements - I take extra measurements over and above the standard, such as shoulder to nipple and shoulder to waist as well as high hip and low hip, which is why I always achieve such a good fit with my dresses.

We decided on train length and the champagne belt colour, the bride paid a $300 deposit and in under 16 weeks the gown was completed and ready for pick up.

The bride-to-be was worried that she had lost too much weight but when she tried it on the lace up back accommodated for this perfectly.

I got an email from her later saying "Thanks again for the dress Kate - I'm in love with it." - There's nothing better for me than this reaction.
